Chinese Storybooks Giveaway, Digital Subscriptions from Chinese-Stories.com!
Have you been looking for leveled Chinese storybooks for your children? I have and I have been hauling heavy suitcases filled with Chinese books each time when I travel to Taiwan. Would it be wonderful to have an online Chinese reading library that fits the needs of your children as a supplement when you need it?
Leveled Reading Starting at 80 Chinese Characters
Chinese-Stories.com uses the platform of website and mobile apps. You can download the free apps at Amazon, iTunes, and Google Play. With one account you can access to all the stories on its website and apps. Chinese-Stories provides stories in both traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese with clear audio support. There are over 500 stories in its collection at this time and it is growing. If you count the different parts of many of the stories it sums up over 2,000 reading passages.
Four Levels to Choose From
There are Picture book level, Elementary level, Lower Intermediate level , and Upper Intermediate level. The vocabulary in each level is carefully selected for reading proficiency practice. Leveled reading material is important for our children.
When there are too many new characters that a child doesn’t know in a story she can lose her interest. This means that the book is way over her current reading level. With the leveled Chinese stories you can listen to the stories with your kid together. You can do read-aloud. Your child can practice reading on her own with a story at her level. If you are an educator and HSK testing is a goal for your students Chinese-Stories has designed the content of their stories according to the HSK standard from HSK 1 to HSK5.
Classic Chinese Stories and popular Chinese Culture Stories
As children read the stories in Chinese-Stories online library they will also learn about Chinese culture. The stories in its collection are divided into two categories. One category is the classic Chinese stories. The other category is the contemporary stories about well-known Chinese public figures or Chinese culture. You can read more about the features of the Chinese-Stories resource by downloading the flyer here.
