Chinese Disney Songs
Here is a collection of beloved Chinese Disney songs for kids and families!
There are over 15 Chinese Disney songs and a couple of more bonus songs that kids and parents can sing together. The power of music is big for language learners. Singing is fun, playful, and engaging.
The benefits of music and songs in learning Mandarin include literacy building, vocabulary familiarity, Mandarin tone confidence, and targeted language listening input. I am big on playing and learning, so singing is always a part of my routine.
You and your child probably have watched many Disney movies. Which one is your child’s favorite? Start with that one! Add the movie title song to everyday life for leisure listening, background music, or active singing! Listen, listen, listen! Listen to the target language, listen to the songs, and have fun catching the words you know!
I may have talked about the importance of active listening a million times already, but I just need to say it one more time! Listening is always the priority when we introduce new topics in Chinese.
And, one thing you don’t need right away is the lyrics on paper. Parents and young learners have different needs. That has something to do with how the brain works with a new language at different age range. The fun thing is parents can easily learn Mandarin alone with their kids by using the first language acquisition approach, and singing is on the list.
Follow the tone. Go with the flow of the music. Experience the song without looking at the lyrics or pinyin. Listen without the screen. Take it slow. Now, enjoy these Chinese Disney songs with your child!

This was great! We love to listen to several of these in Spanish at home but I hadn’t thought of looking for them in Chinese. Thanks to this post I discovered the music app I use has a Disney list, and my oldest just learned how to say “you’re welcome” thanks to the song by that title from Moana.
Lindsay, Music is a great tool for language learning. Children’s songs often have simple words and short sentences and they are a lot of fun to listen to and learn from. What are the top animation movies that your girl enjoys? Go with the songs from there!
